Once per turn, if you control no monsters, you may reveal a monster with 2400 ATK and 1000 DEF or a monster with 2800 ATK and 1000 DEF from your hand to your opponent, during this turn you may Tribute Summon a monster from your hand using one less Tribute.

Once per turn, if you control no Tribute Summoned monsters, you may banish 1 “Monarch” Spell or Trap from your hand or graveyard, then Special Summon up to 1 “Vassal” monster from your deck. Until end of turn, all damage dealt by monsters you control becomes 0.

Once per turn, if you control exactly 1 Tribute Summoned monster with an original 2800 ATK and 1000 DEF, you may target 1 monster that was Special Summoned on your opponent's side of the field, discard 1 card from your hand and banish 1 monster from your graveyard, negate the targeted monster's effect and halve its ATK until end of turn.

Personality: Ansem is a stoic and cold man, speaking rarely and only when necessary. Despite his young complexion and often considered desirable features, he himself does not react with anything other than a glare and a gritting jaw. Getting him to speak above a commanding room level voice might as well be impossible, his temper being always in a stable condition. He is renowned for using even those many would consider his ally, as fodder for his plans to move forward. His ruthlessness comes across as cruelty, and often there is no better way to describe exactly what it is. Cracking a smile on his face is a feat only accomplished by his two closest associates, the two other Deva of Trimurti. They are his closest and perhaps only true comrades, and even then his trust for them is warped and often comes off as cold, even though he has explained numerous times he simply cannot help but growl and groan at them. Smiling is hard. He shows his compassion through an iron fist and a frozen shoulder.
